A New Energy-Efficient Stove Manufacturing Plant Opened with the Support of the Rural Development Agency of the Ministry of Agriculture of Georgia
This project is being implemented within the framework of “Supporting the Implementation of Forest Sector Reform in Georgia to Reduce Greenhouse Gas Emissions from Forest Degradation.” The project is funded by the Green Climate Fund, the Government of Georgia, the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation, and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development.
A key aspect of the project is its educational component, supported by the Ministry of Education of Georgia. Individuals interested in vocational training can participate in specialized training and certification programs.
With the support of GIZ, a program has been launched that offers a co-funding voucher worth 300 GEL to interested individuals, helping them purchase energy-efficient stoves. Approximately 500 households have already benefited from this initiative.
